At 10:00 a.m. in the Trusteeship Council Chamber at Headquarters, the Secretary-General and his Special Representative for International Migration, Louise Arbour, will launch his report on migration: Making Migration Work for All.
The report, which will be available in the six official languages, provides a vision for how to better manage migration, for the benefit of all – the migrants themselves, their host communities and their societies of origin. The General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to produce the report as an input to the zero draft of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration and related inter-governmental negotiations.
